This is one of those chores that I really hate as I can ever seem to get right into the tile grout. The next time that we have splashbacks fitted I`m certainly going to be looking for a material that`s far easier to keep clean. I quite like the look of modern that seem to suit a wide variety of kitchen styles. I know they are easy to maintain and they can look really amazing within a contemporary kitchen setting. I`d describe our kitchen as looking fairly contemporary because it does have rather nice white glossy units on the walls. In fact, with a bit of tweaking here and there we could make it look like a new kitchen if we tried. New made-to-measure would certainly inject a new lease of life into our kitchen and perhaps new granite worktops would finish off the overall effect. At the moment the tiled splashbacks that we have in place just aren`t quite up to the job. They are a pain to keep clean and I`d much rather replace them with items such as that prove to be easier to look after.
